Estate Registration Process

  • Request from Beneficiaries of a deceased person Marriage certificate of the widow, voter’s ID of the Beneficiaries, Death certificate of the deceased birth certificate for the children
  • Obtain statements from the beneficiaries.
  • Preparation of letters to the bank to enquire about the credit balance in the account of the deceased.
  • Preparation of letters of administration (LA) and payment of 10% on the credit balance
  • Tender the document to the master and registrar in the high court Transfer of funds from the bank to the office of the OARG
  • Payment and Residual balance to the Beneficiaries.
